Charela Inn - Negril

4-star beachfront inn on Negril's Seven Mile Beach

Beach and Pool

Charela Inn sits directly on the widest stretch of Seven Mile Beach, with a private beach area shaded by coconut palms and raked clean each morning by the lifeguards. The outdoor swimming pool sits in a tropical garden courtyard and offers a pool with view plus a shallow end for children. Sun loungers and beach towels are provided, and the beach bar delivers drinks straight to the lounger.

Rooms and Suites

Every room at Charela Inn includes a private balcony or patio, with deluxe sea-view rooms offering direct views of the ocean and only 49 ft from the water. Family-friendly accommodations include interconnected rooms for larger groups, and one ground-floor room features an accessible shower for guests with limited mobility. All rooms have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a desk, and a coffee machine, while select suites add a four-poster bed and a jacuzzi tub.

Dining at Le Vendôme

Le Vendôme, the on-site restaurant, blends French and Jamaican cuisine and offers a five-course gourmet menu that changes daily. Ingredients come from the hotel's own farm, providing fresh produce for dishes like duck à l'orange and snapper in coconut sauce. The restaurant accommodates vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free diets, and bakes fresh croissants several times a week.

Entertainment and Activities

Charela Inn hosts live jazz and blues music twice a week, as well as evening entertainment that can include a live band. Guests can play billiards on-site or stroll to nearby Rick's Cafe and the Negril Lighthouse. The hotel offers a paid airport shuttle service from Sangster International Airport, which is 47 miles away.

Family-Friendly Amenities

The inn provides family rooms and interconnected accommodations that give parents and children separate sleeping spaces while staying together. Babysitting and child services are available upon request, and the shallow end of the pool makes it safe for younger swimmers. The beach's gentle slope into calm, clear water and the ample shaded loungers allow families to spend full days outdoors without worry.
